What is the ESC?

The European Solidarity Corps is an EU funding program for young people wishing to engage in solidarity activities in a variety of areas. These range from helping the disadvantaged to humanitarian aid, as well as contributing to health and environmental action across the EU and beyond (find more information here).

Volunteering is an eye opening experience

Who can do a volunteering with ESC?

european citizens from 18-30 years old

Advantages of doing volunteering with ESC

• project duration of 2 to 12 Months
• accommodation and food provided (can be in form of money)
• insurance provided
• free language course (online course or real classes)
• 2 days of holiday per month
• travel costs (to and from your project country) are reimbursed up to certain amount
• pocket money (amount depending on host country)
• you can always step back and quit if really necessary
